After successfully completing this course, students will be able to:

Description |
The concept of responsible data management is based on understanding the individual and societal collective duty to prioritize and respond to the ethical, legal and social challenges coming from the "use of data" by humans (or machines) under different "digitalization scenarios". The key elements of the responsible data use - data privacy, data protection and data ethics - are discussed in detail. Students are provided various ethical dilemmas and introduced with various privacy and security issues that arise with digital technologies.
