Goals
Students internalise how markets work. They also practise dealing with large amounts of data.
Description
Students participate in a series of market simulations in which they represent consumers, producers or traders. Afterwards they will analyse the generated market datasets and compare them to the standard models which they have learned during their first year. Moreover they will apply the concepts to real life situations in their essay assignments.

NOTE: The course requires your presence. In each of the sessions (three market simulations as well as three tutorials) and for each of the two essay assignments you may score points. With enough points you pass the course. There are sufficient chances to reach the threshold, even if you miss one of the sessions. However, non of the components is repeatable, and hence, according to EER Art.4.10.2 there is no resit opportunity. Further, there is also no course assignment.
