Goals
Developing an awareness of the range, scope and complexity of the phenomena, issues and problems related to project- and change management.
Offering an integrated perspective on managing complex projects (that can include organisational change).
The ability to apply tools, techniques, methods and models for project- and change management.
Description
In this skills training students will learn and practice project management skills, such as scoping, planning, financial organisation, et cetera. Project management is necessary for successful innovation, it is not sufficient. Innovation within companies, but also in supply chains, requires organisational change. Failures often result from human resistance to change, rather than from technological problems. Managing change is therefore an important skill that needs to be addressed in the programme. This skills training therefore also addresses change management.
