Goals
The goal of this course is to advance students’ knowledge on theories and processes in entrepreneurial and smaller businesses. Specific attention will be given to the different methodologies used within this research field. The course also aims to further develop the research skills of the students.
Description
This course discusses theories and advanced research topics in the areas of entrepreneurship and small business management. The course reviews concepts such as effectuation, bricolage, resource dependency and further develops knowledge on specific types of entrepreneurial businesses (academic and social entrepreneurship, high-tech venturing and international entrepreneurship).
With regards to research methodology, both quantitative and qualitative research methods will be studied, and students will get the opportunity to practice some research techniques such a factor and regression analyses.
