Goals
The objective of the skills training is to guide you such that you successfully start working on your master thesis and plan your master thesis process.
After having completed the skills training you should have a clear idea on:
1. The research topic of your master thesis;
2. The research question that you will investigate;
3. The research approaches that you can use to collect/analyse data and/or to develop a decision making tool;
4. The specific quantitative methods required to realize the research project.
Description
This skills training consists of three key elements: (1) Developing a research proposal, (2) Attending lectures, (3) Attending research seminars in BISS.

Prerequisites

TRANSITIONAL REGULATION:
Students started the programme prior to September 2019 will be able to finish their programme until September 2020 (excl.).
For the educational units which no longer will be offered as of September 2019 and which students have not completed successfully, a resit option for (all components of) the educational unit will be given until September 2020 (excl.).
