| Description |
In an era defined by rapid technological change, global disruptions, and evolving stakeholder expectations, strategic management requires agility, foresight, and resilience. This course equips students with the conceptual frameworks and analytical tools needed to formulate and implement effective strategies in uncertain and dynamic business environments.
Students will explore how organizations navigate complexity by examining real-world cases across industries and geographies. Core topics include competitive advantage, strategic adaptation, innovation, corporate purpose, and sustainability. Particular emphasis is placed on how uncertainty—stemming from digital transformation, geopolitical shifts, environmental challenges, and market volatility—shapes strategic decision-making. Through tutorials, simulations, and group projects, students will apply strategic thinking to contemporary business challenges, developing their ability to diagnose strategic issues, evaluate alternative courses of action, and craft robust strategies under ambiguity. The course also emphasizes the human dimension of strategy—how leadership, culture, and ethics influence strategic outcomes. |
