Students learn to apply mathematical tools to model economic problems, to develop the theoretical framework of microeconomics and to prove its results

Description |
The course follows the standard canon of microeconomic theory: consumer theory, expected utility theory, producer theory, general equilibrium theory. Note that this is a research master course. We treat topics rigorously, that means that a substantial amount of time will be spent on mathematical proofs.
