Goals
This course on climate finance provides students with a deep understanding of the impact of climate and biodiversity risks on financial markets, and the role of financial instruments in addressing the challenges of climate change and nature loss.
Description
Starting with an introduction to the science of climate change and the associated political/regulatory ecosystem, the course explores the relevance of climate finance in addressing climate challenges and mitigating risks associated with climate change and biodiversity lost. In particular, it delves into funding mechanisms, price discovery (asset pricing), investment strategies (asset management), risk management, and disclosure.
