Goals
Apply the knowledge of the courses in the 1st year IB in a simulated real-life business organisation
Description
This skills training is organised as a game in which an international market
is simulated in which six companies currently participate. The game consist of 10 rounds in which a number of firms participate in a (number of) markets. Every day students get feedback on the performance of their ‘company’ and their competitors . The examination of the game consists of a intro-test, a peer assessment and the actual results measured by a number of performance variables; equity ratios, stockprice, profit used in the game for the firm in which the student is involved.
The management game serves as a (simulated) real-life application and Integration of the acquired
knowledge from the following 1-st year IB courses: Management of Organisations and Marketing, Economics and Business , Accounting, Strategy, Finance, Fundamentals of logistics management.

Prerequisites
Required knowledge for exchange students: Knowledge on an introductory level on; organisation, strategy, marketing, accounting, finance and supply chain management
An advanced level of English.
