Goals
In a globalised and changing world, emerging markets may provide different perspectives.
This skill training aims at linking theoretical perspectives to a 2 week trip in a particular emerging country.
The trip is organised in collaboration with Scope.
Description
Prior to the trip, teams of 3 to 4 students should define a paper proposal for an economic question associated to the visiting countries' economy. This results in a short background paper due before the trip.
During the trip, under the supervision of a staff member discussions with experts working in government institutions, banks, international organisations and large firms are organised in order to shed new light on the topics.
Within a week after the trip, teams of students will deliver, visit summaries, a 4000-6000 words paper on the topic confronting theoretical and practical views, and an individual reflections.

2nd year textbooks of Economics and Business Economics.
Prerequisites
Intermediate level of economics. The number of places is limited, the selection procedure includes a motivation letter.
