Description |
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE TEACHING AND ASSESSMENT METHOD(S) USED IN THIS COURSE IS WITH RESERVATION. THE INFORMATION PROVIDED HERE IS BASED ON THE COURSE SETUP PRIOR TO THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS. AS A CONSEQUENCE OF THE CRISIS, COURSE COORDINATORS MAY BE FORCED TO CHANGE THE TEACHING AND ASSESSMENT METHODS USED. THE MOST UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION ABOUT THE TEACHING/ASSESSMENT METHOD(S) WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE COURSE SYLLABUS. In this skills training students will learn and practice project management skills, such as scoping, planning, financial organisation, et cetera. Project management is necessary for successful innovation, it is not sufficient. Innovation within companies, but also in supply chains, requires organisational change. Failures often result from human resistance to change, rather than from technological problems. Managing change is therefore an important skill that needs to be addressed in the programme. This skills training therefore also addresses change management.
