Educate student in the mathematics of:
* Multivariate vector spaces and higher dimensional geometries * Multivariate vector functions, higher dimensional curves, and Gaussian curvature * Partial differentiation * Multivariable integration * Vector and scalar fields and manifolds * Vector and tensor calculus 

Description 
This course is intended to introduce students in the essential mathematics required to describe and analyse continuous systems consisting of a number of variables.
Multivariate calculus is the extension of calculus in one variable to calculus with functions of several variables: the differentiation and integration of functions involving multiple variables, rather than just one. Considerable attention will be devoted to vector calculus, or analysis, and will be concerned with differentiation and integration of vector fields, primarily in 3dimensional Euclidean space. Vector calculus plays an important role in differential geometry and in the study of partial differential equations. Multivariate calculus is used extensively in physics and engineering, especially in the description of electromagnetic fields, gravitational fields and fluid flow.
