Description |
The Sustainable Development Goals have rapidly risen to the forefront of the political and business agenda. Concepts and ideas such as increasing resilience, adaptation to a changing climate, or decreasing inequality are key to achieving the SDGs. To address these complex challenges, decision-makers from industry and public policy alike increasingly rely on data and analytics. Especially Spatial information that allows you to display socio-economic, infrastructure or environmental data on a map has become an increasingly important analysis tool, and important decision-making instrument. This course is designed to combine knowledge on the underlying concepts for social good, such as resilience or social justice with the techniques and tools you will need to analyze and visualize spatial data and develop powerful stories to ensure that data is – indeed – for good.
