Students learn to apply mathematical tools to model economic problems, to develop the theoretical framework of microeconomics and to prove its results
The course provides an exposition of key elements of modern microeconomic theory at an advanced level. Topics include consumer theory and general equilibrium theory. Note that this is a research master course. We treat the material rigorously, and a substantial amount of time will be spent on mathematical proofs.
