| Goals |
Students learn how to
* understand and present state-of-the-art research articles. * review academic work of other researchers. * model real-life problems within various frameworks from Econometrics, Operations Research and Mathematical Economics * adapt, develop, implement and analyse models and algorithms from those areas to real-life problems. * work on a practical project in a team |

| Description |
In this course students will learn how to use previously learned advanced techniques from Econometrics, Operations Research and Mathematical Economics. This can include time series models for data analysis, game theoretic models, and algorithmic approaches, as well as a combination thereof. This will be achieved by studying state-of-the-art research articles and current research presentations. Students will understand, adapt, implement and analyse those models and algorithms in order to test the validity of the approaches using a specific realistic case.
